Don’t Worry. You’ve Got People.
Mariotti Building Products has been a local, family-owned business for more than 60 years for one key reason.
People.
Our customers, including NEPA industry professionals and homeowners, have become like our extended family. And our employees are as close as family. Over 1/3 them have more than 25 years of experience in this industry, and some have spent their entire careers here. We’re proud of them because they care. They care about doing a good job, and delivering a good product on time. And it makes all the difference.
Your time, patience, guidance and suggestions all added up to our success in making the perfect choice. Please, somehow, know how grateful and thankful we are for you; there just aren’t words enough.
Graciously,
John and Maribeth
The History of Mariotti Building Products
In the mid 1950’s master craftsman Louis Mariotti Sr. and his wife Sistina founded what is known today as Mariotti Building Products.
The company (known at that time as Mariotti Lumber) was located on Main Street in Old Forge. It offered residential remodeling and construction.
In the early 1960’s Mr. Mariotti’s sons Eugene, Robert and Louis Jr. joined the family business. In 1988 the company relocated to a brand new facility on Moosic Road in Old Forge. Today, the company is still located there, and celebrates a third generation of Louis Sr.’s grandsons who still run Mariotti Building Products as a family-owned business.
Sixty years have brought much change and growth to Mariotti Building Products, including three divisions to serve our customers. But we still run on the same family values as we were back then, and we’re still recognized as the area’s best source for building materials and service.
