Getting the refrigerator, range and pantry storage on a short wall
We stacked a pantry pullout and tray divider on the left side of the refrigerator, leaving prep space on both sides of the range. Drawers around range hold cutlery and pots and pans. The island holds the sink, trash, dishwasher and microwave, while hiding additional storage on the back.

Creating a Kitchen That Maximizes Storage While Feeling Inviting
The homeowner wanted a kitchen that maximized storage without sacrificing warmth or visual simplicity. The goal was to create a space that felt welcoming and uncluttered while offering intuitive organization for daily use.
The layout presented a unique challenge: fitting the refrigerator, range, and pantry storage along a short wall while maintaining adequate prep space and smooth workflow. Every inch needed to be carefully considered to avoid crowding the room.

By stacking a pantry pullout and tray divider next to the refrigerator, the design team was able to add generous storage without overwhelming the wall. This approach preserved prep space on both sides of the range, supporting efficient cooking and movement throughout the kitchen.
Deep drawers around the range provide convenient storage for cutlery, pots, and pans, keeping essentials within easy reach. The island serves as a central workstation, housing the sink, trash pullout, dishwasher, and microwave, while concealing additional storage on the back side to maintain a clean, streamlined look.

The Simple Slab cabinetry door style features Tawny stain on quartersawn white oak to introduce warmth and natural texture. Viatera Soprano quartz countertops offer durability and subtle elegance, while reeded glass doors add visual interest without disrupting the kitchen’s minimalist design.
