Elegant Storage Meets Everyday Function
For this Taylor bathroom renovation, the homeowner wanted a warm, tailored look that offered serious storage without sacrificing style. Designer Matthew Narieth worked closely with the client to select a vanity that feels clean and elevated, while keeping countertop clutter out of sight.
The vanity’s rift white oak cabinetry in a Pampas stain gives the space a calm, natural tone that pairs beautifully with the brushed gold hardware and fixtures. The slim Ava door style from Showplace Cabinetry keeps the design modern and streamlined, letting the rich wood grain shine.
Smart Design for Shared Spaces
One of the biggest goals for this project was to make the bathroom more “spouse-friendly”—easy to share and easy to keep organized. The vanity was designed with “his and hers” drawer storage, offering each person their own section for daily essentials.
To cut down on visual clutter, a lift-up countertop door was added, providing a hidden spot to store hair dryers, styling tools, and cosmetics. The result is a bathroom that looks picture-perfect even during busy mornings.
A Warm and Functional Retreat
This space strikes a perfect balance between beauty and function. The tall center cabinet provides ample vertical storage, while the soft wood tones and gold accents create a cozy, spa-like atmosphere. Every design choice, down to the placement of the mirrors and lighting, was made to enhance both style and usability.
